Rota Cover

Dear All,

No doubt you will all have seen recently the many text messages put out by both the Rota Manager, Ed Sutton, and the Duty Controllers, trying to fulfil both the rota and the high volume of work. Sadly this has led to us having to decline several jobs over the past month. While some of the issues have been down to the poor weather, the underlying stats show that we need more active riders. Therefore, now that the weather is improving and training is possible, we have opened a recruitment cycle and will be selecting new members from the waiting lists. The target is to train 20 active new members to the Rota as soon as possible.

In the mean time can I please ask that you continue to check the Rota regularly for empty spaces and respond, when you can, to both Ed’s regular requests and the Duty Controllers ad-hoc calls.
